This year, we’re holding our eighth annual Helping Paws Day on Tuesday, August 1! Davanni’s is giving back 10% of all dine-in, curbside, and takeout sales to Helping Paws. Also, during the month of August, you can add a donation for Helping Paws to your online order! Through your orders and donations, we’ve been able to give back more than $55,000 to Helping Paws over the years.
Helping Paws, locally based in Hopkins, is an organization that trains and provides service dogs for individuals with physical disabilities and veterans, and first responders with PTSD. Helping Paws’ mission is, quite simply, “Furthering people’s independence and quality of life through the use of Assistance Dogs.”
Helping Paws dogs are valued at approximately $30,000 at the time of graduation. Helping Paws provides dogs free of charge through events like these, private donations, grants, and other fundraising opportunities.
